Kiana Cowles Meyer is a passionate Lighting Designer committed to making the entertainment industry more inclusive and secure for women. As an industry professional herself, she has seen the need for more inclusion and diversity in the entertainment industry first hand and works tirelessly to rectify that. Her journey began at Santa Susana High School and has grown to working and touring professionally, with companies such as Stagetech and 4Wall Entertainment. She has recently earned an AA from Moorpark College and is pursuing her BFA in lighting design from the California Institute of the Arts to help further her cause and education. Cal Arts will help here with her dream of creating immerissive spaces with the use of lighting to tell a story. Throughout her professional career thus far, Kiana has learned the ins and outs of the industry and excels at theatrical and concert lighting design. Kiana's ability to glean inspiration from her own experiences helps her to artistically curate unique designs in collaboration with production and creative teams.
